large air conditioned hall with fantastic wood floor

sliding scale admission, $5 to $10

1st hour: lights-on contra, all dances taught and prompted

2nd hour: techno contra, two no-walk-through medleys with abbreviated calls

last 30 minutes: lights-on contra, cool-down no-walk-throughs

music as recorded by leading edge contra bands

calling by Tara Bolker

please arrive between 7:30 and 7:45, ready to dance at eight

(newer dancers especially)

bring light refreshments to share before the dance and at the breaks

(optional)

wear soft-soled shoes without too much grip

(worn out sneakers are good; high heels aren't)
